Teachers can digitally create student quizzes using SCL's Interactive Assignment.
This tutorial will focus on creating questions and preparing them for autocorrection, along with other helpful tools.
To create one or more questions
When creating Fill the Blank Questions, the answer's similarity percentage is displayed, which can be adjusted to allow for typographical errors. SCL automatically ignores case sensitivity and whitespace issues in the student's answer.
If you want to display the Fill the Blank in the middle of a phrase, you can add six or more underscores in the question body of the Fill the Blank question.
SCL offers built-in MathType & Chemtype tools for Math, Chemistry, and Physics teachers in the Question Toolbar. These tools allow teachers to create formulas using free handwriting or selecting symbols.
In Question Management, you can manage the following
From the top page toolbar, you can enable or disable the following
You can change the layout of how questions are displayed in the Interactive Assignment. You can display them one question at a time with pagination, show all questions on the same page, or enable pagination only when you have created more than 50 questions to avoid device performance issues and change the settings.
You can modify the details of the previously created assignment, such as submission dates and other settings, or delete the assignment in the Assignment Details section.
To exclude or include students in the created assignment, click "Manage Assignment" and then go to "Student Scores" to select the desired students.
Once you have completed creating your assignment, it is necessary to publish it to be visible to your students within the Interactive Assignment's submission dates.
If you make any changes to the questions after publishing the assignment, you must republish the assignment for the changes to take effect.
