When you first launch the SCL Mobile Application, it will prompt you to allow notifications. If you declined this prompt, or if you're experiencing issues receiving notifications, you can enable them manually by following the steps below.
- Open the SCL Mobile Application.
- Navigate to the Notifications tab.
- Look for a "Notification Blocked" error message.
- If you see this message, it indicates that notifications are currently blocked.
Open Settings:
- Tap the Settings app on your home screen.
Navigate to Notifications:
- Scroll down and select Notifications.
Find SCL Mobile Application:
- Scroll through the list and tap on SCL Mobile Application.
Allow Notifications:
- Toggle the Allow Notifications switch to the On position.
Customize Notification Settings (Optional):
- Choose your preferred Alert Style, Sounds, and Badge App Icon settings.
¶ For Android Devices
Open Settings:
- Tap the Settings app on your device.
Access Apps & Notifications:
- Select Apps & Notifications or Applications (this may vary by device).
Select SCL Mobile Application:
- Scroll down and tap on SCL Mobile Application from the list.
Enable Notifications:
- Tap on Notifications.
- Toggle the Show Notifications switch to On.
Adjust Notification Settings (Optional):
- Customize Notification Categories, Sounds, and Vibration settings as desired.
- Check the Notifications Tab:
- Open the SCL Mobile Application.
- Navigate to the Notifications tab.
- Ensure there is no "Notification Blocked" error message.
The absence of this error message indicates that notifications are enabled.
By ensuring notifications are enabled, you'll stay updated with the latest alerts and updates from the SCL Mobile Application.
